Glover's Reef Biological Quarterly Report – (January - March 2011)
Glover’s reef marine reserve was declared a marine reserve in 1993 and throughout the years we have started to collect vital data within this Marine Protected Area. This past quarter the focus was on the Nassau Grouper populations, which commercial species were impacted and the we collected data on the different recreational activities being down within the atoll.

Glover's Reef Marine Reserve Quarterly Report – (April - June 2011)
This report comprises the months of April through June 2011. This second quarter of the year was averagely busy for MPA staff. Enforcement issues that staff had to deal with was on the rise since the lobster season was about to open and we charged many people for illegal activities especially as the quarter came to a close.

Glover's Reef Marine Reserve Quarterly Report – (January - March 2011)
This report comprises the months of January through March 2011. This second quarter of the year was averagely busy for MPA staff. Enforcement issues were on the rise that staff had to deal with. There were several monitoring surveys that were accomplished. There were a few meetings that the reserve manager attended this past quarter.

Nassau grouper Spawning Aggregations – (2005-2011)
The data gathered will be used to determine the sizes, seasonality and number of various species that utilize the spawning sites. This report presents data collected from the 2011 Nassau grouper spawning event season (January 2011 and February 2011) at Northeast Point Site at the Glover’s Reef Atoll. The data are combined with results from the previous 2005 – 2010 spawning event seasons.

In-water Surveys of Marine Turtles – (November 2010)
In 2007, the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) launched its marine turtle work in partnership with the Belize Fisheries Department, by initiating a long term in-water sea turtle monitoring program at Glover’s Reef Atoll, the first of its kind in Belize.

Fisheries Department Enforcement Policy – (July 2010)
This document is been prepared in an effort to standardize Fisheries Enforcement throughout the Country. Law Enforcement Officers (LEO's) within the country must be aware of the laws they are enforcing and of utmost importance the Rights of the Accused.

GRMR Annual Monitoring Report – (2010)
Monitoring activities at Glover's reef marine reserve for the year 2010 includes monitoring of different marine species at specific designated areas of the atoll. These areas include sites in the different zones of the reserve such as; the conservation zone and the general use zone. Other areas were on beaches and on land where turtle nesting occurs and bird observation.

GRMR Quarterly Report – (Jan – March 2010)
Majority of this past quarter's focus was placed on illegal activities. Patrols were focused heavily during this past quarter on noncompliance to the conch fishery. There were not many charges that were brought against fisherman this past quarter but there were a few warnings.

GRMR Quarterly Report – (April – June 2010)
This past quarter's focus was equally placed on illegal activities and monitoring, however with the cut backs in fuel we had to use mostly surveillance techniques from land. Patrols were focused heavily during this past quarter around the opening of the lobster fishery.

GRMR Quarterly Report – (July – September 2010)
This report comprises the months of July through September 2010. This third quarter of the year was very busy for MPA staff. Enforcement issues encountered with was on the rise and we charged and issued written warnings to many people for illegal activities especially as the quarter came to a close.

Nassau Grouper Spawning Aggregation - (Jan 2005 – March 2010)
Since reef fish aggregations are spatially and temporally predictable, they have become increasingly vulnerable to fishing pressure with drastic declines in fish populations of some species throughout the Caribbean.

Fisheries Catch Data Collection Program - (Jan 2005 - June 2010)
One of the main economic activities of the Glover's Reef Atoll is fishing. The Glover’s Reef Atoll Fisheries Catch Data Collection Program is a fishery-dependent monitoring program that involves sampling the catch from fishers.

GRMR Sea Turtle Report – (April 2010)
The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), in partnership with the Belize Fisheries Department, initiated a long term in-water sea turtle monitoring program at Glover's Reef Atoll, the first of its kind in Belize.

Long-term Atoll Monitoring Program - (July 2004 – May 2010)
The aim of the Glover’s Reef Long-term Atoll Monitoring Program (LAMP) is to collect baseline information and data over time that will be used to determine the current status and monitor trends of commercial fish species (distribution, density, size class structure, reproduction) and habitat quality.

Nassau Grouper Spawning Aggregation - (Jan 2005 - Feb 2009)
Commercially important reef fish such as groupers and snappers migrate to specific places at specific times to reproduce, a phenomenon known as a spawning aggregation, a critical stage in the life cycle of these species.

Fisheries Catch Data Collection Program - (Jan 2005 - June 2009)
One of the main economic activities of the Glover’s Reef Atoll is fishing. The Glover’s Reef Atoll Fisheries Catch Data Collection Program is a fishery-dependent monitoring program that involves sampling the catch from fishers: the species composition, the amount and size of fish products harvested from the Atoll’s General Use Zone.

GRMR Sea Turtle Report - (April 2009)
The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), in partnership with the Belize Fisheries Department, initiated a long term in-water sea turtle monitoring program at Glover's Reef Atoll, the first of its kind in Belize.

Long-term Atoll Monitoring Program - (July 2004 - Aug 2009)
Fishing is one of the most important economic activities in Belize, and the Marine Protected Area (MPA) system is expected to contribute to sustainable fisheries by providing refuge areas that allow for species reproduction and ultimately, the replenishment of adjacent fished areas.

Protected Area Management Effectiveness - (September 2009)
This assessment of Glover's Reef Marine Reserve is part of a larger initiative that looks at the management effectiveness of all protected areas in Belize and identifies strengths and weaknesses of the National Protected Areas System as a whole.

Fisheries Catch Report 10/04-12/07
