Glover's Reef Marine Reserve Service Providers

Six resort facilities are located on Glover's Reef Atoll, offering various marine recreational services. The majority of the resorts are rustic and relatively small; most are ecologically-sensitive operations that use mainly solar or wind energy and compost toilets, and endeavour to minimize and recycle waste, and conserve water. They have incorporated local style architecture and several blend in well with the natural environment, landscaping with native vegetation. Long Caye The northernmost resort is Glover's Reef Atoll Resort (www.glovers.com.bz), located on Northeast Caye. It offers camping sites, tents, dormitories and thatch cabins. Activities offered include SCUBA diving, dive training, snorkeling, kayaking, sailing and sport fishing.

Slickrock Adventure Inc. (www.slickrock.com) is situated on Long Caye. This adventure eco-resort offers SCUBA diving, snorkeling, sea kayaking, windsurfing and sport fishing. Accommodation is provided in cabanas.

Off the Wall Dive Center & Resort (www.offthewallbelize.com), provides beachfront cabanas on Long Caye. The eco-resort offers SCUBA diving, dive certification courses, snorkeling and sport fishing.

Island Expeditions (www.islandexpeditions.com), is located on South West I Caye. It is a field camp with tent-walled cabanas. It offers sea kayaking, kayak sailing, snorkeling, SCUBA diving (including underwater Sea-Breathe System), and sport fishing.

Isla Marisol (www.islamarisolresort.com) is also located on South West I Caye. It has air-conditioned cabanas and a reef house. The resort offers SCUBA diving (including Nitrox diving), snorkeling, kayaking and sport fishing.

Manta Resort (www.global-travel.co.uk/manta1.htm) is the southernmost of the resorts, located on South West II Caye. It offers SCUBA diving, snorkeling, kayaking, fly-fishing and trolling. Accommodation includes air-conditioned cabanas and a family house.
